Author's Notes

This is quite a big work on my part. I am writing my first X-COM Fan Fiction Novel. For my first novel, I wanted to do something that had not been allready done. The inspiration for this work came to me, after seeing the game over scene in UFO:Enemy Unknown. I though that I should try to create an X-COM fan fiction about the aftermath of the alien domination, and then explain it.

This story is, in many ways, a side universe to the X-COM: Earth Defenders timeline. Basically though, Jake Rowell's forces are defeated at Cydonia, which prompts the aliens to lead an all out war to the finish, almost entirly annihalating Earth. The story picks up eight years after Rowell's defeat.

Of course, this story has no impact to any other X-COM fan fiction of mine. Since the planet isn't really destroyed in UFO, and we save the day at Cydonia, this story has no effect to Into the Void or anything. I just found it to be an intresting story to write, and began writing.

You will see charachters from X-COM:Earth Defenders and X-COM:Into the Void however. Among them, are Jessica Thompson, Tyler Reber, and Kari Willams. Other charachter may show up, as well as new original ones. So, read on, and journey into X-COM:Alienated Earth.
