Laser fire flashed, a ruby brilliance across the sky. Nova Cat, a seventy tonned five story high machine of death and destruction ran across the battlefield to meet face to face with Bob Richard's Awesome. Both machines were evenly matched in speed, with the long range advantage going to diranged, but Bob's Awesome carried a number of short-range weapons, giving it an extra edge if both 'Mechs would close.
Diranged spun his 'Mechs torso by 45 degree angle and fired three extended-range large lasers build into nova cat's left arm. Emerald beams sizzled through the cold air, as they carried their lethal energy towars Awesome. 1 beam missed, but two others hit squarely into the Awesome's chest vaporising the armor. Bob counterattacked with a simultaneous triple PPC blast, targeting Nova Cat's head. One missed by a mere centimeters, but two other particle beams tore into the Nova Cat's left shoulder. Armor exploded, as the fragments vaporised in the mid-air, leaving dark glowing scars on a superstructure. Diranged increased the pace of his map running tight circles around the Awesome, as he fired both ER PPC's built into his 'Mech's right arm....Blue particle beams reached towards the Bob's Awesome...the moment they impacted on its left leg, diranged was awaken by a sound of clock alarm....this is just a game don't take it too seriously :)
